Trunks
A large part of the shop has been dedicated to travel lovers. The travel objects have been to every part of the world along with their owners, and the signs of time and the patina they have acquired are a testament to their history. The important maisons that produce luggage have always been considered synonymous with great quality and luxury. Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Prada, Gucci, Goyard, Moynat, Keller: extremely prestigious names that instantly evoke legendary enterprises and faraway lands.
In our shop, while discovering the objects, it is possible to view trunks that sailed the oceans along with those European noble families who travelled to explore the New World, the suitcases that travelled along with diplomats to the most remote boundaries of Asia, and furthermore one has the chance to see the pieces of luggage that were “ made to order” to provide all the essentials for the first European explorers in Africa.
A camp-bed especially designed by Louis Vuitton for Brazza, the pieces of luggage that had been made in the famous and particular shade especially chosen by the Romanov family, the drink set made for the Prince of Polignac by Keller Paris, the precious crocodile or leather jewel-vanity boxes handmade by Hermes.
Trunks, suitcases, vanity boxes and more exclusive items are featured in all their details: a type-writer box and trunks that had been specifically designed in order to contain small “travel offices”. These objects are definitely very rare and have been specifically selected and, in some cases, restored to maintain their uniqueness and to protect the history they represent.
